Compliance copilot
The compliance copilot is a chat surface at Copilot in the
dashboard sidebar (/app/copilot). Ask questions in plain language
and the copilot answers them by querying your workspace’s own data:
- “What should we fix first?”
- “Why did our score drop last week?”
- “Which WCAG criteria still need manual review on our checkout site?”
- “Are our accessibility statement and VPAT up to date?”
- “Draft a summary of where we stand for my manager.”
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Any workspace member can use it, including viewers; conversations are private to the member who started them.
Grounded answers, with receipts
Section titled “Grounded answers, with receipts”The copilot cannot invent numbers. Every fact in an answer comes from one of a fixed set of read-only lookups against your workspace:
| Lookup | What it reads |
|---|---|
| Sites | Your sites with open-issue counts |
| Site overview | Headline scan, compliance score, issue rollup |
| Issues | Open issues ordered by priority, with filters |
| Issue detail | One issue’s rule, severity, and affected pages |
| Trend | Scan-by-scan score movement over 7 to 90 days |
| Checklist | Per-criterion WCAG checklist state and progress |
| Scan comparison | New, fixed, and persisting findings vs. baseline |
| Statement status | Statement and VPAT existence and staleness |
While the copilot works you’ll see a live status line (“Checking issues…”), and each answer carries source chips linking back to the dashboard page that shows the same data, so any claim is one click from its evidence. If the data can’t answer a question, the copilot says so instead of guessing.
What it will not do
Section titled “What it will not do”- No writes. The copilot never changes issue statuses, starts scans, or creates tickets. When you ask it to act, it points you to the right place in the dashboard.
- No cross-workspace data. Lookups are scoped to the active workspace on the server side; the model cannot reach anything else.
- No legal determinations. Scores and automated findings are indicative. The copilot reminds you of this when questions turn to legal exposure or certification.
Conversations
Section titled “Conversations”- Conversations are saved per member. Use the picker at the top of the page to return to an earlier thread, or New chat to start fresh.
- Deleting a conversation removes it and its messages permanently.
- Each member can send up to 10 messages per minute.
Answer quality tips
Section titled “Answer quality tips”Name the site when you have several (“on the marketing site”), and ask one question at a time. The copilot resolves site names itself, but precise questions spend less of its lookup budget and produce sharper answers.
